Managing Change Meeting Series
The Ohio State University Extension Beef Team and Ohio Cattlemen's Association will again be hosting a series of meetings at two different locations on consecutive evenings in February and March 2010. Wednesday evening meetings will be at the Highland County Training & Employment Center in Hillsboro on February 3, 10, 17 and March 10. Thursday evening meetings will be at Alexander High School in Albany in Athens County on February 4, 11, 18 and March 11. All sessions begin with a meal at 6:00 p.m. and the program will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Click here for a registration form.
This four-session beef school will help cattlemen gain an understanding of today's beef cattle business realities, review strategies which will optimize whole herd profitability and look at alternative production practices that can keep the progressive cattleman profitable during these challenging times.
