Get Involved

How can your county get involved?

The OCA has many events throughout the year that county affiliates can get involved with in addition to helping recruit new members. Check back often to see how your county can get involved!

Attention County Affiliates - OCA needs your help with the ultimate Beef promotion each summer!
Each summer OCA asks for help from it's affiliates to help with the ultimate Beef promotion during the Ohio State Fair with the operation of the OCA Steak Barn and Food Pavilion. Each year, OCA and its many volunteers join together to promote beef products to the hundreds of consumers attending the fair. Shifts are currently available in both the Steak Barn and Food Pavilion throughout the fair (July 30-August 10). We will need six people per shift in the Steak Barn and eight people per shift in the Food Pavilion. Each person who works will receive a free admission pass to the Ohio State Fair as well as a meal voucher upon completion of their shift. Click here for a sign-up sheet. For more information about this meeting please contact Jamie King at 614.873.6736 or jking@ohiobeef.org.
